Oh Christmas Tree....

Since I will be celebrating Christmas in Norwalk this year, and we are having family over, I decided to buy a Christmas tree.

This will be the first year I am not in Belgium for Christmas. So the least I could do is buy a tree and battle myself with all the lights. I could barely fit the tree in our living room. I even had to cut the top in order to put the star on top.

For years I struggled to put the 100 lights my mom had bought to put them in our tree. Now that I have my own tree, I thought never would I go through the same..but surely I got myself a string of 100 lights. I realised we did not have enough, so Javier convinced me to buy 200 more lights!! So here I am putting 300 fricking lights in the tree!!! I hope none of them will break over the next 3-4 weeks. If so, there will be a lot of cursing. so cover your ears.
